Our client is an established FMCG business supplying both domestic and international markets, with a continued focus on growth and operational improvement.
  
Following a recent uplift in procurement capability, the function is now focused on strengthening supplier performance, pricing discipline and overall commercial outcomes across key categories.
  
The role
  
This is a Procurement Commercial Specialist role with end-to-end ownership of a defined product category.
  
A core focus is international sourcing of ingredients and raw materials, working across global supply markets to secure supply, manage risk and deliver competitive commercial outcomes.
  
You will be responsible for supplier management, commercial negotiations and pricing performance, while partnering closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment across the business.
  
Key responsibilities:
  • Own a category of ingredients/raw materials end-to-end
  • Lead international sourcing across global supplier markets
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance
  • Lead commercial negotiations across pricing and supply
  • Drive margin improvement and cost optimisation initiatives
  • Monitor global supply markets and respond to pricing and availability changes
  • Support supply continuity and manage risk across the category
  • Partner with stakeholders across sales, finance and operations
What we’re looking for
  • Experience in procurement within FMCG/ food/ingredients environments
  • Exposure to international sourcing and import-led supply chains
  • Proven capability across supplier negotiation and commercial outcomes
  • Understanding of supply markets, pricing dynamics and risk
  • Ability to operate autonomously and manage a category
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across operational and commercial teams
