We're partnering with a growing and well-established technology services provider to recruit their first dedicated Project Coordinator. This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to help shape project delivery processes while working alongside experienced technical and leadership teams.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who understands technical IT environments and enjoys bringing structure, organisation and commercial awareness to project delivery.
About the Role
Working closely with the team, you'll coordinate multiple client projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget and aligned to agreed scope.
You'll become the central point of coordination between engineers, stakeholders and clients, proactively identifying risks before they become issues and helping ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.
This is a role where your contribution has a direct impact on project success and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple infrastructure and cloud projects simultaneously.
- Track project schedules, milestones and deliverables using Gantt charts and project plans.
- Monitor project budgets, scope and timelines to minimise overruns.
- Identify project risks early and work collaboratively with the Project Manager to implement solutions.
- Coordinate engineering resources and ensure project tasks remain on schedule.
- Communicate project updates with internal teams and clients.
- Support project documentation, reporting and project administration.
- Help establish and improve project delivery processes as the business continues to grow.
- Assist in monitoring project profitability and margin performance.
We're looking for someone who combines strong organisation with technical understanding and excellent stakeholder management skills.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator within an MSP, IT consultancy or technical services environment (highly regarded).
- Exposure to infrastructure, networking or cloud technologies through previous technical or project-based roles.
- Understanding of project delivery fundamentals including scope, scheduling, budgeting and risk management.
- Experience coordinating engineers or technical delivery teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of project profitability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High emotional intelligence with the confidence to hold people accountable while maintaining positive working relationships.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
