We are partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Project Manager to lead a strategic payroll transformation initiative across the APAC region.
This is a high-impact role where you will drive end-to-end delivery of a critical project, partnering with Finance, Payroll, and Employee Relations teams to deliver process and system improvements.
About the Role Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of a key transformation program focused on payroll processes and systems. You will lead planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the planning and execution of a payroll transformation project
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources
- Engage and influence stakeholders across Finance, Payroll, and HR
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively
- Drive change management initiatives to support adoption of new processes
- Oversee governance, reporting, and project documentation
- Ensure delivery meets agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards
About You - 5+ years’ experience delivering complex projects, ideally within Finance or Payroll
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working across senior levels
- Experience delivering system and process transformation initiatives
- Solid understanding of risk management, governance, and project delivery frameworks
- Resilient, proactive, and outcome-focused
Desirable Experience - Exposure to payroll systems or back-office finance environments
- Familiarity with project methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile
- Strong technical aptitude with tools such as MS Project and Excel
