We are partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Project Manager to lead a strategic payroll transformation initiative across the APAC region.
This is a high-impact role where you will drive end-to-end delivery of a critical project, partnering with Finance, Payroll, and Employee Relations teams to deliver process and system improvements.

About the Role Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of a key transformation program focused on payroll processes and systems. You will lead planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of a payroll transformation project
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Engage and influence stakeholders across Finance, Payroll, and HR
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively
  • Drive change management initiatives to support adoption of new processes
  • Oversee governance, reporting, and project documentation
  • Ensure delivery meets agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards
About You
  • 5+ years’ experience delivering complex projects, ideally within Finance or Payroll
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working across senior levels
  • Experience delivering system and process transformation initiatives
  • Solid understanding of risk management, governance, and project delivery frameworks
  • Resilient, proactive, and outcome-focused
Desirable Experience
  • Exposure to payroll systems or back-office finance environments
  • Familiarity with project methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile
  • Strong technical aptitude with tools such as MS Project and Excel
