Reporting to the CFO, you will take ownership of the financial management and reporting of a portfolio of property assets. This is a hands-on role with broad exposure across property accounting, fund reporting, and stakeholder engagement. The duties of your role will include but not be limited to the following.
- Finance business partnering with property managers, asset managers, and external stakeholders
- End-to-end property accounting for a portfolio of assets
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis
- Lease accounting, including rental income recognition, outgoings, and reconciliations
- Preparation of property budgets and forecasts
- Cash flow management and reporting across assets
- Support fund-level reporting and investor deliverables
- Assist with statutory reporting, audit, and tax compliance requirements
- Drive process improvements and support ongoing system enhancements
The Candidate
- CA/CPA qualified (or close to completion)
- Strong understanding of lease accounting and property financials
- High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple assets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Systems savvy, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience in property accounting or a related field (real estate, funds management, or asset-heavy businesses) will be advantageous but not essential
