About the role 

Our client is seeking an energetic, well-presented and well-communicated Receptionist to sit front of house and represent the business to its stakeholders.  and be a pivotal part of the Office Support function. The ideal candidate will have a high level of organisation, initiative and attention to detail. You will be highly motivated, confident in your processes and have the ability to multi-task. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
  • Meet and greet all visitors, and direct them appropriately
  • Manage meeting room and board room bookings
  • Answer all incoming calls and manage a busy switchboard
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Keep a clean and tidy office space
  • Manage all reception documents
  • Coordinate events and organise catering
  • Facilities administration
  • Order stationary and office supplies
  • Printing, filing and scanning
  • All other ad hoc duties as required
Skills / Experience

You must have previous experience working as a Corporate Receptionist in a Professional/Corporate Environment. Other skills/experience required include but are not limited to;
  • Previous experience working as a Corporate Receptionist
  • Experience working in the Financial or Professional Services space is highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience operating switchboards
  • Computer literate to at least an intermediate level, including (MS office suite & internet)
  • Excellent telephone manner, communication skills and customer service
  • Ability to work within a high volume, team environment
  • Discretion in relation to confidential information
  • Good written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative in problem solving and in exercising judgement
