We are partnering with a globally recognised, premium retail group to appoint a regional Finance Manager for the company ANZ region. This role offers a rare opportunity to step into a broad, hands-on leadership role within a lean and high-performing regional team.

The Opportunity
Reporting into a senior regional finance leader, this role will take ownership of the ANZ finance function across multiple entities, with a strong focus on statutory compliance, tax, and financial reporting. You will operate as the key local finance lead , partnering closely with APAC and US stakeholders while maintaining end-to-end oversight of financial operations as part of a lean, close knit ANZ team.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of ANZ tax and statutory compliance (GST, FBT, income tax, transfer pricing)
- Lead and own financial reporting, consolidation, and audit processes
- Oversight of month-end close and financial control environment
- Management of AP/AR and outsourced finance support teams
- Responsibility for inventory accounting and stock-related reporting
- Treasury activities including cashflow and intercompany management
- Drive process improvement, systems alignment, and operational efficiencies
- Lead, mentor, and support a small local finance team
- CA/CPA qualified with strong ANZ statutory and tax expertise
- Proven experience in a hands-on Finance Manager or Senior Financial Accountant capacity
- Exposure to retail, consumer goods, or inventory-led environments is highly regarded
- Comfortable operating in a lean structure with broad accountability
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across regional/global teams
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
- Strong systems knowledge (SAP would be highly advantageous)
- $160,000 – $175,000 + Super (potentially negotiable for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate)
