About the Role
- Deliver safe, timely, and high‑quality emergency nursing care across triage, fast track, acute, resuscitation, and short‑stay areas.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, initiate interventions, and evaluate outcomes in line with current ED clinical guidelines and escalation frameworks.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team—ED consultants, registrars, ENs, ANUMs, allied health, and ambulance services—to optimise patient flow and care outcomes.
- Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and adhere to all legislative, safety, and infection‑prevention requirements.
- Contribute actively to quality improvement, clinical audits, and initiatives that support excellence in emergency care delivery.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration (RN Division 1).
- Demonstrated experience in an Emergency Department, including exposure to resuscitation and high‑acuity care.
- Strong critical‑thinking, clinical assessment, and escalation skills.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining a patient‑centred approach.
- Commitment to professional development and adherence to evidence‑informed practice.
- Ability to work autonomously and cohesively within a dynamic multidisciplinary team.
