About the Role As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute and complex conditions. You will work collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, patient-centred care within a busy Emergency Department.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
- Respond effectively in emergency and critical situations.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold professional standards.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Recent Emergency Department nursing experience.
- Triage and/or ALS certification (highly regarded).
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
