About the role
Based in one of Melbourne’s most prominent showrooms, your role as Residential Sales Consultant will be to assist residential designers & retail customers with all aspects of the design process. You will drive the full sales process, from the initial client liaison through to final product specification and ordering. As well as this, you will be relied upon to identify industry trends and participate in constructive product analysis at sales meetings – so you will be a key cog in a tight-knit, friendly and high-performing team. This role is pivotal to fostering close industry relationships, business leads and continued sales growth for this evolving A&D organisation.

Key responsibilities
  • Drive sales across the showroom
  • Provide exceptional service to all customers
  • Contribute to market/product analysis at sales meetings especially; identify and report all competitor activity in region, especially taking note of direct product competition in all areas of the market.
  • Foster and promote the collection of products with residentially-focused designers by regular ‘proactive’ client presentations
  • Assess existing client base allocation with a view to improved sales generation
What you need to be successful
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to deal with clients at all levels
  • Must be well presented, and able to align with the look and feel of the brand
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Ideally have experience from the residential A&D furniture space, however experience from different areas of the A&D industry will be advantageous as well
