Our client is a well-established and highly regarded business operating within the mining and heavy equipment sector, supporting major sites across Western Australia. With a strong reputation for delivering quality products and services, they are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to support their growing sales team.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced Account Managers, technical teams, and key external stakeholders in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The Responsibilities:
The duties of the role will consist of the following; however, will not be limited to:
Sales Administration & Coordination:
- Provide administrative support to Sales Managers and the wider sales team
- Process quotes, sales orders, and invoices accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and distribute customer quotes in a timely manner
- Maintain customer databases, usage reports, and sales records
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key site contacts and customers
- Act as a key point of contact for incoming sales enquiries
- Liaise with internal departments including purchasing, stores, and technical teams
- Communicate order updates and proactively manage delays with customers
Operational Support:
- Track and follow up on outstanding quotes and orders
- Coordinate parts and equipment requirements with internal teams
- Assist Account Managers in achieving sales targets
- Support reporting requirements and general sales administration
The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will obtain the following attributes; which will not be limited to:
- Previous experience in a sales administration or customer service role within a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to mining, industrial, or heavy equipment industries is highly regarded
- Experience using ERP systems (Pronto preferred) and CRM systems (Salesforce advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work both autonomously and within a team
- Confident in handling pressure and resolving customer queries effectively
