As a Sales Engineer, you will have a crucial role in building business streams across a variety of industry sectors. Working closely with Engineering Managers and Project Managers, you will be responsible for devising custom solutions in the field of industrial automation.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in diverse industry sectors.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Project Managers to design and implement tailored solutions for clients.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to potential clients.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the field of industrial automation or related industries.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles; Engineering qualification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to analyse customer requirements and propose suitable solutions, including reading drawings etc.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
