Reporting to Finance Controller, the role will oversee all financial reporting related matters in both Australia and New Zealand including Monthly/Quarterly/YE reporting, variance analysis, Pricing management, GL reconciliation, cash flow management, FX management, tax management, audit and statutory reporting, budget/forecast. The duties of the role will include but not be limited to the following.
- Maintaining General Ledger for both AU and NZ
- Timely and accurate month-end activities in ERP, monthly financial report, and other group reporting requirements
- Balance sheet reconciliations (including all sub ledgers.)
- Pricing management
- FX Risk Management
- Preparation of information for filing and lodgment with local authorities (e.g., Company tax, VAT/indirect tax etc.)
- Budgeting and Forecasting.
- Group audit and local statutory audit.
- Provide support to Quality claim management
- Acting as the contact point to Business relating to financial accounting related topics.
The Candidate
CA/CPA qualified and with great attention to detail, as well as the ability to look at “big picture”, you will be the sort of person takes initiative with all stakeholders internally and externally, following up issues through investigation to solution. In this role you will also partner with the Sales and Operation team to ensure smooth running of their processes. Advanced Excel skills will be advantageous.
