We are recruiting a Senior Accountant to join a reputable business based in Western Brisbane. This role is seeking an immediate start for an initial 3 month temporary assignment with view to permanency.
Working closely with a small, collaborative finance team, you’ll play a key role in restoring data integrity and improving system accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile contracts within the system
- Perform General Ledger reconciliations
- Identify and investigate discrepancies across historical data
- Flag issues to system administrators for correction
- Support clean-up of legacy transactions
- Assist in stabilising and improving overall data quality
- Proven experience in General Ledger and balance sheet reconciliations highly preferable
- Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and investigative mindset
- Comfortable working through large data sets and system issues
- Ideally CA/CPA qualified (or working towards), though strong Finance Officers will also be considered
- Experience with ERP systems (exposure to Business Central, D365 or similar highly regarded)
