Our client is a leading global organisation seeking a talented Senior Accountant / Finance Transformation Project Accountant to join their Finance team on an initial six-month contract. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in driving finance transformation, automation and process improvement across the business.

A key focus will be using Alteryx, data and technology to automate manual processes and improve the efficiency of Finance. You will also support month-end close, reconciliations, journals and reporting, making this an ideal opportunity for an accountant who combines strong accounting fundamentals with a passion for technology and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive finance transformation, automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Build and implement Alteryx workflows and data-driven solutions.
• Analyse data to identify efficiencies, risks and opportunities.
• Improve Finance processes, controls and reporting.
• Support system and process implementations.
• Partner with Finance, Technology and other key stakeholders.
• Support month-end close, journals, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual Finance activities.

About You

• Up to 5 years' experience in accounting, finance or transformation.
• Strong accounting and month-end experience.
• Experience in finance transformation, automation or process improvement.
• Alteryx experience highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with large data sets and technology.
• Confident communicating with senior stakeholders.
• Available to commence at short notice.
