An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join a well organised and growing Healthcare business based in Sydney's CBD. Taking a hands-on approach, this role will focus on working closely with the Finance Manager and be responsible for process improvements, cashflow management, lease accounting, producing the month end and more!
The responsibilities
The main duties include:
- Prepare and review month end processing including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Consolidate monthly, half-year and year end accounts and report packs
- Maintain control analysis and provide commentary and insights on consolidated P&L
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Preparation of Income tax including FBT and BAS
- Review and maintain internal controls
- Preparation of Monthly and fortnightly cashflow
- Assist with External Auditors
- AASB16 Calculations
- Review and assist with process improvements
- Qualified CPA or CA
- Proven working experience within a similar role
- Ability to work in a fast dynamic and changing environment
- Positive attitude and good communications
