About the Role
 
Due to an internal move/secondment there now lies an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A /Business Partner to join this well-established organisation for an initial 6-month fixed term contract. Focused on the group, this role will see you focusing on coordinating the budgeting, strategic plan, and monthly forecasting processes, along with working closely with the Commercial Finance team to accurately report and provide insights. This role also has a focus on stakeholder management and delivering group reports both internal and external. This will be a key role within the organisation.

The Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Finance - Planning and Controlling, the main duties will include:
  • Prepare financial reports for executive team, board, and other stakeholders with financial and non-financial metrics
  • Provide relevant, meaningful commentary for financial performance reporting, board presentations and other ad hoc reporting
  • Manage the regular group forecasting process
  • Run the annual budgeting process in conjunction with the Group Planning & Commercial Finance Manager
  • Assist in half year and year end external reporting including the preparation of investor relations materials
  • Review monthly financial results and KPIs to ensure accuracy
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Group’s business drivers, and its strategic goals
  • Develop and evolve insightful reporting and analysis, highlight risks and opportunities and present findings to relevant stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach
  • Leading process improvements
  • Ad hoc analysis as required
The successful applicant will possess

Our client is looking to attract an ambitious Financial Analyst, who is CA/CPA qualified who has demonstrated success within a similar role. You will possess a proven track record of business partnering with senior executives and possess the ability to effectively communicate financial data to operations. Advanced MS Excel skills are essential with preferable systems experience with Tableau and or Power BI.
