An ASX listed FMCG Organisation are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team and drive excellence in their systems and controls. Our client are looking for an experienced IT professional with a solid understanding of Finance and Accounting. The ideal candidate will have experience in successfully enhancing systems and controls within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify key requirement areas, and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Ensure that the foundation of the EDR reporting model is solid, tailored, and ready for development whilst identifying areas to simplify, and automate.
- Establish and evolve existing data governance practices.
- Develop and execute the appropriate data roadmap to minimise double handling, and key person risks within EDR.
- Design a responsibility matrix for the end-to-end financial reporting process and controls.
- Evolve the existing reporting capability.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure the EDR model aligns with business objectives.
- Facilitating sessions and workshops to elevate our team’s understanding of the new models, thereby driving organisational change.
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. You will also have expertise IT general controls and a good understanding of assessing and designing controls.
