This is a high-impact commercial finance role within a large, complex organisation undergoing significant transformation and growth.
Operating at a true Finance Business Partner level, you’ll sit at the centre of the business, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across operations, commercial, and leadership teams to drive performance and strategic decision-making.

This is not a traditional reporting role. It’s a highly commercial, forward-looking position where your insights will directly influence outcomes.

About the Company:

This organisation is a market leader within a large-scale, asset-heavy industry, operating across multiple business units and regions.

With a strong footprint in Australia and globally, the business is known for its operational complexity, scale, and ongoing investment in growth and transformation. Finance plays a critical role in driving performance, with a strong emphasis on commercial decision support and business partnering rather than pure reporting.

You’ll be joining a high-calibre finance team embedded within the business, where finance is seen as a true strategic partner to operations and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insights and strategic recommendations
  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across key business units
  • Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
  • Identify risks and opportunities to improve business performance and profitability
  • Support decision-making through scenario modelling and financial analysis
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting, processes, and systems
The successful applicant will have
  • CA / CPA qualified
  • Proven experience in a commercial finance / business partnering role
  • Background within large, complex organisations (multi-entity / matrix environments)
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders
  • Demonstrated career progression and stability
  • A proactive, commercially minded approach, not just reporting, but driving decisions
