A leading manufacturing business is seeking a high-calibre Senior Commercial Analyst to join their finance team in a pivotal commercially focused role. Acting as the 2IC to the Head of Finance, this position will play a key role in driving business performance through detailed sales analysis, strategic insights, forecasting, and business partnering across operations and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver detailed sales, margin, and profitability analysis across multiple business units and product lines
- Analyse large and complex datasets to provide actionable commercial insights and performance recommendations
- Partner closely with sales, operations, supply chain, and senior leadership teams
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Support the Head of Finance with strategic initiatives, board reporting, and commercial decision-making
- Develop financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to improve visibility and performance tracking
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to drive business growth and operational efficiencies
- Assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, systems, and processes
- CA/CPA qualified
- Strong experience within commercial finance, FP&A, or commercial analysis roles
- Background within the manufacturing industry is required
- Advanced Excel and strong ERP/BI systems experience
- Proven ability to work with large datasets and translate data into meaningful business insights
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering capability
- Commercially astute with a proactive and analytical mindset
