An opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Senior Commercial Analyst to join a large, complex and industry-leading organisation operating across multiple sites nationally. This role sits within a high-performing commercial finance team and offers genuine exposure to operational leadership, sales, and senior stakeholders across the business.

This is a highly visible business partnering role supporting operational and commercial performance across a national portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders to drive insight, improve decision-making, and influence business outcomes.

About the Role:

Reporting into senior finance leadership, this position will partner directly with Operations, Distribution and Sales leadership teams to provide meaningful commercial analysis and support strategic decision making.
Key responsibilities include:

• Business partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders across multiple business units
• Delivering commercial analysis, forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting
• Providing insight into revenue, margins, operational performance and cost drivers
• Supporting strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects
• Developing financial models and actionable commercial recommendations
• Assisting with monthly performance reviews and leadership reporting
• Working cross-functionally with finance, operations and sales teams to improve business outcomes
• Travelling quarterly to regional operational sites including outside of Sydney

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

• CA or CPA qualification
• Proven experience within commercial finance, FP&A, business partnering or commercial analysis roles
• Experience working within large, complex organisations
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence non-finance stakeholders and operate in a highly collaborative environment
• Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• A proactive, commercially curious and solutions-focused mindset
• Stable career progression and demonstrated success partnering with operational leaders
• A drivers licence is essential for this role
