Position Description
Reporting to the Group Credit Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

• Perform in-depth analysis of data, generate insights and identify trends within the debtors portfolio of varying accounts
• Develop and implement initiatives to improve current credit and recovery stretegies / processes and procedures
• Manage credit holds and provide advice and recommendations on minimising bad debts
• Maintain a credit risk management process
• Predict probable success and failures of customers utilising various sources of data
• Lead, encourage and build continuous improvement capabilities across the business, in order to optimise performance and achieve both desired financial and operational outcomes
• Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure strategic direction of the business is communicated and achieved
• Various reporting duties

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience within a similar Credit Analyst position
• Advanced excel skills and SQL skills
• Strong communication skills that allows you to build strong relationships and exert influence with key stakeholders across the business
• Analytical mindset, with a proven ability to take initiative and lead change
• Strong desire to be a facilitator and leader of continuous improvement, and strive to achieve optimal performance
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritise own work, and have excellent time management skills
