This is a great role for Finance and commercial analysts with direct operational experience to step into a role with end to end operational P&L ownership.
We are partnering with a leading global organisation in the supply chain sector to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst to support key site operations across NSW and SA.
This is a highly commercial, operationally embedded finance role where you will take ownership of end-to-end financial performance for multiple sites, working closely with operational leaders to drive efficiency, cost control, and overall business performance.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior operational stakeholders, providing insight-led analysis and financial guidance that directly influences decision-making and performance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage full P&L performance for sites
- Partner closely with operational leaders to drive financial and operational outcomes
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
- Deliver detailed variance analysis, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Build financial models and conduct scenario analysis to support business decisions
- Provide monthly and weekly performance reporting to operational stakeholders
- Identify cost optimisation and continuous improvement opportunities
- Support ad hoc analysis and broader finance initiatives as required
- 3–6 years’ experience in Finance, FP&A, or Business Partnering roles
- Proven experience working with operational, logistics, manufacturing or supply chain stakeholders
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Experience influencing non-finance stakeholders and driving commercial outcomes
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data
- CPA/CA qualified or working towards (highly regarded)
- Genuine ownership of operational P&L across multiple sites
- Direct exposure to senior operational leadership
- High-impact role with visibility across the broader business
- Fast-paced, operational environment with strong commercial focus
- 3–4 days onsite in Western Sydney Location
