An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a high-performing Group Financial Planning & Analysis team within a large, complex Australian organisation.

Supporting a significant, capital-intensive business, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering financial planning, modelling and commercial insights that directly influence Executive and Board-level decision making. This is far more than a traditional reporting role;  it's an opportunity to own outcomes, shape strategic decisions and work alongside an experienced leadership team that values curiosity, technical excellence and continuous improvement.

If you enjoy a hands on role where you solve complex financial problems, building best-in-class financial models and translating data into meaningful commercial decisions, this is a role where you'll genuinely add value.

About the Role
Reporting to the Group FP&A Manager, you'll join a highly regarded finance team responsible for delivering critical planning, forecasting and financial analysis across the organisation.

Operating as a trusted finance partner, you'll take ownership of key FP&A processes while working closely with Commercial Finance, Treasury and Corporate Finance teams to provide high-quality insights that support strategic decision making.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities across the business.
  • Developing and maintaining robust, scalable financial models across the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
  • Producing Executive and Board-ready reporting with clear commentary, commercial insights and recommendations.
  • Analysing financial performance to identify trends, risks, opportunities and key business drivers.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision making.
  • Driving automation, process improvement and reporting efficiencies across the FP&A function.
  • Maintaining strong governance, controls and data integrity across financial reporting.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of modelling standards, reporting quality and FP&A best practice.
About You
You are a CA or CPA qualified finance professional with strong experience within Group FP&A, Corporate FP&A or a large, complex commercial finance environment.

You'll be someone who enjoys working hands-on with the numbers, takes genuine ownership of your work and thrives on solving complex business problems.

To be successful, you'll demonstrate:
  • Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
  • A deep understanding of financial statements, forecasting methodologies and business performance drivers.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence decision making.
  • The ability to transform complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience delivering Executive or Board-level reporting.
  • Exposure to Oracle EPM, ERP or comparable enterprise planning systems will be highly regarded.
  • A naturally curious mindset with a passion for improving processes, simplifying reporting and driving better business outcomes.
What's in it for You?
  • Join a high-performing Group FP&A team supporting Executive and Board-level decision making.
  • Work on strategically important initiatives within a large, complex organisation.
  • Enjoy a genuinely hands-on role where you'll own meaningful work and influence commercial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with experienced finance leaders who value ownership, initiative and technical excellence.
  • Be part of a culture that encourages continuous improvement, curiosity and professional development.
  • Excellent long-term career opportunities within a stable and growing business.
  • Attractive remuneration package of up to $175,000 package plus 10% STI, together with flexible hybrid working arrangements.
