Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close process and ensure the timely delivery of accurate financial and management reporting.
- Prepare insightful analysis and commentary for senior leadership.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management activities.
- Manage interim and year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
- Prepare and oversee statutory reporting and compliance obligations.
- Maintain strong financial controls, policies and governance frameworks.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset accounting and lease accounting.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting, systems and processes.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to provide financial support and commercial insights.
- Lead, mentor and develop members of the finance team.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.
- Experience managing external audits and statutory reporting requirements.
- Background in external audit, financial reporting or a similar technical finance environment.
- Proven ability to maintain robust financial controls and governance frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a finance team.
- Proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
