Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for preparation and review of monthly accounts, completion of month-end process, preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, monthly reports for submission to parent company and assisting with the preparation of annual statutory accounts. The duties of your position will include but not be limited to the following.
- Management of IFRS 16 calculations and requirements
- Processing journals for month end close
- Preparation of month end accrual journals and other accounting entries
- Liaise with Commercial Finance around month end postings
- Review accuracy of results and assist in the preparation of monthly P&L
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reports, (including CAPEX Report)
- Preparation of store impairment models quarterly
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly forecasting and annual budget
- Continuous development of processes and procedures to increase accuracy & efficiency and process streamlining between entities
- Other ad hoc projects and duties as required

Skills and Experience
You are CA/ CPA qualified, have will have excellent technical skills and previous experience working for a large and complex commercial organisation. Your interpersonal and communication skills are first class, allowing you to gain the confidence of and develop strong professional relationships with those both above and below you. Previous IFRS 16 and strong Excel skills are essential to your success in this role, and previous experience with large ERP and TM1 systems is highly desirable.
