Our client is a community-centric Not-for-Profit Organisation, taking a people first approach. In the midst of an exciting acquisition and further developments, our client is seeking a technically strong Senior Financial Accountant to join their team for six months (with potential to extend).
  
Reporting directly to the CFO, your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

• Manage Month End close, including Journals, Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
• Supporting the transactional accounting functions within the business; Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables.
• Compile and submit BAS/PAYG for the business.
• Document processes and drive improvement across all finance business procedures.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure financial processes are adhered to.
• Coordinate and assist in interim and Year- End audits with external auditors.
  
  To be successful in your application, you will be CA/CPA Qualified. Ideally with NFP/ Healthcare industry experience, but this is not essential. You will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and regulations. You will possess excellent problem-solving abilities and communication, as your ability to interact with internal stakeholders will be critical to your success.
