• 6-Month Fixed Term Contract (Potential for Extension/Permanency)
• Group consolidations and treasury focus 

We are currently partnering with a globally backed financial services organisation that provides tailored lending and financing solutions across a specialised asset portfolio to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant on an initial 6-month contract. This is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for treasury operations, liquidity management, funding support, and group consolidation reporting within an asset-backed financing environment. You will work closely with offshore parent company finance and treasury teams to ensure accurate reporting, strong governance, and disciplined liquidity management.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate month-end group consolidation, including eliminations and reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting outputs aligned to group requirements
• Support quarterly reporting to offshore parent entity
• Respond to offshore (Japan) queries and ensure alignment with group accounting policies
• Support key funding partner relationships
• Assist with securitisation program requirements, covenant compliance, and trust reporting
• Manage daily cash flow, liquidity tracking, and short-term funding utilisation
• Maintain and update banking and facility information (including rate updates and facility tracking)
• Support funding optimisation within governance and risk frameworks
• Build strong working relationships across local operations and offshore group teams
• Ensure compliance with reporting deadlines, escalation protocols, and governance standards
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes from a liquidity and funding perspective
• Oversee integrity of operational finance data (including sub-ledgers and portfolio data)

  
About You
We are looking for a hands-on, commercially minded finance professional who can operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  
You will bring:

• 6-7+ years’ experience in treasury, structured finance, or financial services accounting
• Strong experience in banking relationships, funding, or securitisation environments
• Solid group consolidation and month-end accounting experience
• Experience working with offshore parent companies (Japan / US ideal)
• Strong Excel and SAP skills
• CA / CPA qualification (preferred)
