Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with both IFRS and US GAAP requirements, and supporting the broader finance function through process improvement and automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packs.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and relevant statutory requirements.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Partner with internal and external auditors during audit cycles.
- Support tax, regulatory, and compliance reporting obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial reporting and accounting processes.
- Utilise Python and other analytical tools to automate reporting, improve data integrity, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with regional and global finance stakeholders to support business objectives and reporting requirements.
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Proven experience in a Senior Financial Accountant or equivalent role within a large corporate, multinational, or listed environment.
- Strong technical accounting expertise across both IFRS and US GAAP.
- Advanced financial reporting and statutory compliance experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python, with experience using automation and data analytics to improve finance processes.
- Strong systems aptitude, with exposure to ERP environments and large data sets.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
