Based in their corporate head office, with flexibility to work from home, this role will see you working in their high calibre corporate team.
The role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for financial accounting for the Australian entities for one of their major brands. Duties include:
- Maintaining financial records for the Australian companies;
- Consolidation activities for group results;
- General ledger reconciliations, capital expenditure, processing accounting entries and preparation/review of the consolidated monthly and quarterly reporting;
- Lead for the year end audit for the Australian entities;
- Statutory accounts, preparation of all taxation requirements and implementation of new accounting standards and enhanced financial accounting processes;
- Budgeting and forecasting activities;
- Cash flow and treasury including banking transactions, FX and weekly cash flow reporting.
- Qualified accountant (CA/CPA);
- Large ERP experience.
- Ideally Big 4 or mid tier background OR large corporate company exposure in a similar role;
- Strong grasp of financial accounting concepts and accounting standards.
- You will be a self starter, be able to work independently and be solutions focused.
