Senior FP&A Analyst

Significant home-based working opportunity

I’m currently partnering with a high-growth, ASX-listed global e-commerce platform to recruit a top-tier Senior FP&A Analyst into a high-impact role working directly with the CFO.

This is a standout opportunity for a commercially minded, analytically strong finance professional to step into a true strategic finance seat, with direct exposure to executive decision-making and a clear pathway to FP&A leadership.

The Role

This is a hands-on, model-heavy role where you’ll sit at the centre of the finance function, owning core planning and analysis workstreams and partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
Key responsibilities include:

• Owning the forecasting and planning cycle, including rolling forecasts, annual budgets and long-range models 
• Building and maintaining end-to-end three-statement financial models, including revenue, margins, cash flow and balance sheet 
• Delivering variance analysis and performance insights to explain key business drivers 
• Leading board reporting and executive-level analysis, partnering directly with the CFO 
• Conducting deep-dive KPI and cohort analysis across GMV, margins, CAC/LTV and working capital 
• Acting as a true business partner to commercial, growth and operations teams 
• Delivering strategic analysis including pricing, investment cases and market expansion modelling 
• Driving process improvement and automation across planning and reporting 

About You

• 7+ years’ experience across investment banking, consulting, transaction services or FP&A 
• Strong academic background in finance, economics or a quantitative discipline 
• CA / CPA / CFA (or equivalent) highly regarded 
• Exceptional financial modelling capability, able to build models from scratch 
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting fundamentals 
• Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments (ideally e-commerce, marketplace or tech) 
• Exposure to listed environments is advantageous 

You’ll be intellectually curious, commercially astute, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with direct exposure to senior leadership.
