Are you a technically strong finance professional looking to step into a highly visible role within a large ASX-listed organisation?

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing Group Finance team in a role that combines corporate transactions, finance transformation, technical accounting and group reporting. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in supporting acquisitions, integrations and strategic finance projects while contributing to the ongoing financial reporting obligations of a complex listed business.

The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, this position offers exposure well beyond traditional financial reporting. You will be heavily involved in acquisition integration activities, technical accounting assessments, financial analysis and group finance projects that have a direct impact on business performance and strategic outcomes.

About the Role:
  • Support acquisition and divestment activity, including integration of newly acquired businesses into group finance processes and reporting frameworks
  • Partner with finance, IT and operational stakeholders to drive successful finance transformation and system integration projects
  • Prepare technical accounting papers relating to acquisitions, transaction accounting and complex accounting matters
  • Assist with half-year and full-year statutory reporting requirements for the group
  • Support board and audit committee reporting through high-quality financial analysis and insights
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, automation opportunities and enhancements to financial controls
  • Work closely with executive stakeholders, auditors and cross-functional project teams on strategic finance initiatives
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
  • CA, CPA or CFA qualification
  • 3+ years post-qualification experience within Group Finance, Financial Reporting, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance or a similar environment
  • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting capability
  • Exposure to corporate transactions, acquisitions, integrations or major finance projects
  • Experience working within a large corporate or ASX-listed environment
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities
  • A proactive, commercially minded approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
