An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join a well-established not-for-profit organisation with a strong community focus and purpose-driven culture.
This is a key role within the finance team, providing high-quality financial reporting, commercial analysis and strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.
About the role
Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing accurate and timely monthly management reports and financial statements
- Leading month-end close processes, including journals, reconciliations and variance analysis
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning
- Providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decisions
- Partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to understand and improve financial performance
- Monitoring budgets, expenditure and financial performance against targets
- Supporting finance process improvements and broader commercial initiatives
- Preparing financial information and presentations for senior management
- CA/CPA qualification or equivalent
- Strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder communication and business partnering skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Advanced Excel and ERP system experience
- $140,000 - $145,000 + super
