The Position

As an experienced Payroll and HR professional, you will drive the assessment of the payroll information for the current workforce to assist the Remuneration and Benefits team. You will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. 
The duties of this position will include but not be limited to the following:
  • Assessment of the employee level classifications for a workforce of approximately 4,500 staff
  • Highlight key areas of review to determine risk groups
  • Annual audit of award rates and time worked
  • Calculating pay adjustments and back payments and advising payroll on such amendments
  • Providing a consultative approach to rectifying and advising on appropriate courses of action
  • HR Reporting and bulk employee changes in line with contract changes and award requirements
  • Provide value-add analysis and commentary to stakeholders across the business
  • Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide recommendations
  • Broad range of analytical projects across Payroll and HR operations
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Other tasks as required by the Payroll team
  
Skills & Experience 

With at least 5 Years senior management experience, you will have worked extensively in a Payroll and HR environment and will be confident in leading analytical projects through your previous successes. A confident leader you will be comfortable engaging across a large organisation and be able develop professional relationships with those both above and below you. High level Excel skills are essential to your success in this role.
