This ASX listed business is located on the fringe of Brisbane's CBD. Presently, they are searching for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their organisation on a permanent basis.
Position Description
Reporting directly into the Payroll Team Leader, then the National Payroll Manager, you take complete ownership over the weekly payroll, within a team of 20.
- End to End Payroll processing
- PAYG, Payroll Tax, work cover and Superannuation payments
- Preparation of monthly payroll journals for posting into the General Ledger
- Ensuring accurate and timely process of payroll administration including compliance with statutory requirements
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Maintenance of the Employee Service Portal
- Month end reports and year end reporting
The successful applicant will have extensive experience in a similar Senior Payroll Officer role. You will also have;
- Superior attention to detail
- Strong organisational and numerical skills
- Knowledge of superannuation, payroll tax and statutory requirements
- Experience using Tier one payroll system - Kronos is a bonus!
- Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a supportive environment
