The Opportunity
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to step into a key contract role within a stable, high-performing organisation undergoing transformation.
This role will take full ownership of end-to-end payroll for circa 200 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery across all cycles.
This position will suit a confident and autonomous payroll professional who thrives in a high-volume environment and is comfortable managing both system-driven and manual processes. There is also potential longer-term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
• End-to-end payroll processing across circa 200 employees
• Managing fortnightly payroll and superannuation payments
• Ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance and timely delivery
• Preparing monthly payroll reporting for senior stakeholders
• Maintaining payroll processes across both automated and manual workflows
• Supporting payroll queries and resolving discrepancies
• Assisting with accounts related duties when required
About You
• 3+ years proven experience in an end-to-end payroll role, ideally in an autonomous or standalone environment
• Ability to confidently “own” and manage payroll autonomously
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience working with both system-led and manual payroll processes
• Exposure to Employment Hero highly regarded
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Available to commence immediately
