Our client is a global leader within a rapidly growing industry. They are currently looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to join their high performing and supportive team.
The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a medium sized team, you will be responsible for:
- Reporting via ad hoc query wage type reporter, downloading from SAP
- Uploading and importing files to SAP
- Processing wage increases, backpays and new allowances
- Setting up new sites/locations and creating positions
- Award interpretation and testing new awards
- Overseeing payroll governance and controls as well as;
- Assisting with payroll processing when required
The successful applicant will have
- Prior experience within a similar Senior Payroll Officer position
- Experience with SAP is essential for this position
- Experience with SuccessFactors (Employee Central & Employee Central Payroll) will be advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in a team based environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
- Analytical skills and an ability to think outside the box
