Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play a critical role in the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services across a large and complex environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end payroll processing across weekly, fortnightly and monthly cycles
- Managing payroll adjustments including terminations, redundancies, bonuses and commissions
- Maintaining payroll master data and system integrity (SAP ECP / SuccessFactors)
- Processing superannuation, payroll tax and statutory compliance obligations
- Completing reconciliations, month-end processes and reporting requirements
- Managing employee queries and delivering a high level of internal customer service
- Conducting root cause analysis on payroll discrepancies and driving process improvements
- Partnering with HR, Finance and broader stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll operations
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven payroll experience, ideally within a large or complex organisation
- Strong working knowledge of SAP, ECP and/or SuccessFactors (highly regarded)
- Solid understanding of payroll legislation including PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and Fair Work requirements
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a customer-centric approach
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
