Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play a critical role in the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services across a large and complex environment. Your responsibilities will include:
  • End-to-end payroll processing across weekly, fortnightly and monthly cycles
  • Managing payroll adjustments including terminations, redundancies, bonuses and commissions
  • Maintaining payroll master data and system integrity (SAP ECP / SuccessFactors)
  • Processing superannuation, payroll tax and statutory compliance obligations
  • Completing reconciliations, month-end processes and reporting requirements
  • Managing employee queries and delivering a high level of internal customer service
  • Conducting root cause analysis on payroll discrepancies and driving process improvements
  • Partnering with HR, Finance and broader stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll operations
Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • Proven payroll experience, ideally within a large or complex organisation
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP, ECP and/or SuccessFactors (highly regarded)
  • Solid understanding of payroll legislation including PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and Fair Work requirements
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a customer-centric approach
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
