Due to the growth of the company and for cost saving purposes, the business is currently looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to play a key role and assist with the implementation of a new time & attendance system. Position Description:  
Reporting to the HR Systems & Payroll Manager, your duties will include:
  • Taking a lead role in the payroll/T&A system implementation
  • Conduct high level system configuration and data migration
  • Complete parallel testing 
  • High-level interpretation of payroll rules from historic system to the current / new system
  • Relevant EBA and award interpretation
  • Map and model processes for payroll rules and standards
  • Reporting duties
  • Provide high quality customer service through accurate information and support to stakeholder enquiries
  • Train the company employees to efficiently & accurately use the new system

The Ideal Candidate:

The successful applicant will have similar proven experience in a Senior Payroll Specialist role as well as possessing:  
  • Experience in Payroll/T&A system implementation
  • At least 5 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll processing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to hit the ground running
