About the Role
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will take ownership of site quality systems and risk management across safety, quality, and environmental functions. Acting as the subject matter expert, you will drive continuous improvement in process control, lead internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
You will work closely with Production, Maintenance, and leadership teams to strengthen quality culture, coach stakeholders on data-driven decision making, and ensure effective execution of quality activities. The role will also see you managing microbiological testing programs, environmental monitoring, product specifications, and supplier compliance, while leading investigations into non-conformances and customer complaints.
Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you will bring strong technical capability and proven experience within food manufacturing quality systems:
• Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations
• Experience leading audits, managing QMS, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Proven ability to investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions
• Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and coach teams
• Analytical mindset with experience interpreting quality and microbiological data
