6-Month Contract (likely to extend) | 5 Days Onsite | Knoxfield 

A well-established Australian business is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join their technology team and support a modern Microsoft-focused environment across cloud and on-prem infrastructure.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of systems engineering, infrastructure support, security, automation, and project-based improvement work in a collaborative environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting and maintaining Microsoft cloud and on-prem infrastructure
• Managing Azure services including networking, VPNs, Entra ID, Conditional Access and security policies
• Building, configuring and supporting Windows desktop and server environments
• Driving patch management, automation and infrastructure improvements
• Supporting enterprise deployments including Windows 11 SOE/MOE and Autopilot
• Acting as an escalation point for complex infrastructure and systems issues

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience in Systems Engineering or Infrastructure roles
• Solid Microsoft cloud experience across Azure and M365
• Experience with Azure networking, VPNs and identity management
• Exposure to Entra ID, PIM/PAM and Conditional Access policies
• Experience deploying and supporting Windows 11 enterprise environments
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and GitHub highly regarded
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder skills
