The Role
Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, you will oversee a medium sized division that incorporates Payroll, Accounts Payable & Receivable staff. Your role duties will include:
- Effectively and actively lead, manage and oversee a close knit team of 4 staff
- Be hands on with the timely and accurate delivery of multiple pay runs for 750+ staff across different business entities
- Ensure the team delivers high-quality services that appropriately consider business wide requirements, benefits, risks and costs
- Being a key driver and initiator of system and process improvements
- Monitoring service level agreement and compliance
- Building effective working relationships with all stakeholders and provide support as required
The Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll/AP/AR Management role, within a medium sized organisation, as well as the following attributes:
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Excellent leadership skills with an ability to improve staff morale
- Passion and experience in developing and executing strategies which improve business performance
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management skills with excellent communication
