This role is a 12 month + daily rate contracted position, where the successful Solution Architect will be an application visionary that provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying appropriate technology and applications. 

Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Collaborate with key business stakeholders, enterprise and solution architects, portfolio managers, technology SMEs (and other) to assist in validation of business problems/opportunities against established Technology roadmaps and delivery portfolios.
• Create Solution Architectures using Enterprise Architecture standards, patterns and building blocks.
• Ensure solutions align with Enterprise Architecture principles, guidelines and standards and review solution architectures and designs.
• Develop methodology, process, procedures, and templates to facilitate the elicitation, collection and interpretation of business needs.
• Provide advice on technical aspects of development and ensure that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices are applied correctly.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Solution Architect in a software development / delivery environment.
• Experience in consulting and negotiating with diverse stakeholders including vendors.
• Experience working in agile teams.
• Ability to communicate complex technical designs and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desired Skills

• Experience in Aged Care/Disability or Government sectors.
• Relevant Architecture certifications i.e.. TOGAF.
• Diverse industry experience with demonstrable ability to pick up new domain knowledge quickly.
• Experience working on digital transformation programs.
