An opportunity is available for an accomplished finance professional to join their high performing Australian Finance team. Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, your role will be to support the state of NSW, dedicated to partnering with OneSchool Global NSW and responsible for providing financial expertise and support to the State Management team, maintaining alignment, improving the control environment, preparing timely and accurate financial reports and contributing to the annual planning process.
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to)
- Completion of monthly reporting, statutory compliance deliverables;
- Collate budgets and report on performance;
- Support Heads of Department regarding financial and budgetary issues;
- Compile and present information on costs and contribution by department and campus;
- Analysis of monthly financial management reports for whole school, campus and department level for variances to budget;
- Prepare and present long-term financial plans (budgets/forecasts) in line with future strategies for the School.
- Develop and maintain a strong rapport with organisational stakeholders; and
- Be a role model for accountability, integrity, service delivery, team spirit, ownership, and reliability.
As the suitable candidate you will be CA/CPA qualified with approximately 3-5 years at a management/controller level and ideally commenced your career from a chartered accounting firm. You will bring your extensive experience in Financial Accounting, reporting and analysis, along with your problem solving and resolution skills. You will possess high levels of influencing skills including well developed relationship building with stakeholders from various functions.
