Our client is a well-respected global organisation with a strong market presence and an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Finance Analyst to join their collaborative finance team based in Sydney CBD.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with operations and supply chain stakeholders to deliver meaningful financial insights that support business performance.
You'll play a key role in analysing costs, supporting strategic decision-making, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and helping the business optimise financial outcomes across its supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations and Logistics teams to provide financial analysis and commercial support.
- Prepare and analyse monthly reporting, forecasts, budgets and financial performance.
- Monitor product, freight and operational costs, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis to support business decisions and improve profitability.
- Assist with cost forecasting, variance analysis and reporting across the supply chain function.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting, controls and financial performance.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate financial information and reporting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and help drive efficiencies across finance and supply chain operations.
- Previous experience in a Finance Analyst, Commercial Analyst or Supply Chain Finance role.
- Experience within a logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, FMCG or distribution environment will be highly regarded.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
- Microsoft Excel skills, with exposure to ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong working relationships across the business.
- CPA or CA qualification (or working towards)
