You’ll sit at the centre of the business - working with internal teams and suppliers to ensure sustainability initiatives are delivered, tracked, and continuously improved.
Location: Eastern suburbs of Melbourne
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate packaging sustainability initiatives, including APCO reporting and compliance
- Track and report on energy, water, and waste metrics - turning data into meaningful insights
- Collect and manage sustainability data from suppliers, ensuring accuracy and follow-through
- Support supplier engagement around environmental and social compliance
- Work cross-functionally with procurement, QA, product, and operations teams
- Help improve transparency and drive year-on-year sustainability performance
- A degree in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field
- Either:
- A graduate with strong passion for sustainability and curiosity, or
- 1-2 years’ experience in a sustainability, or reporting-focused role
- Confidence working with data (Excel, reporting, systems)
- Strong communication skills - able to simplify technical concepts
- A proactive, “roll up your sleeves” mindset and willingness to learn
- Ability to build relationships and follow through with stakeholders
