About the role
You will be responsible for assessing current systems, designing and developing new technology solutions within the business application stream. Medium and long term strategies include ERP integration and cloud migration.
About you
Preferably you will be an experienced architect that has technical mindset and understands the relationship between development teams and architectural solutions. This organisation are looking to upgrade their ERP and CRM systems an individual with the experience of integration and EDI would be preferred.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Analyze and document business requirements, and translate into technical terms and drive team effort to design, build and manage technology solutions that solve business problems
- Exhibit outlook to bring continuous improvement, innovation and exhibit capability to learn new areas (technology, business domain, project management process) and drive the similar effort of team members:
- Undertake primary ownership in driving self and team effort across all phases of a project lifecycle
- Understanding business requirements, application dependencies, designing technical solutions, system and software architecture according to business strategies and architecture standards/processes.
- Engagement with business and IT stakeholders; analysing business requirements and determining appropriate solutions to these requirements in consultation with IT and other stakeholders across the business.
- Resolving routine to moderately complex problems and issues in solution architectures; assessing potential risks and determining solutions to these risks.
About you:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in relevant field.
- At least 8-15 years of IT experience with the leading platforms, technologies and architecture principles.
- Must have good understanding of leading IT frameworks, familiarity with Architecture Review Board and proceedings.
- Extensive experience across enterprise architecture, applications and infrastructure.
- Understand the problem statement, business requirements and design and build complex solutions using programming languages, etc.
- Exposure to ERPs, EDI, Integration, cloud platforms and transformation of legacy systems.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft, SAP technologies and platforms
- Demonstrated experience working in an Agile environment
