The Position 
  
This Training Coordinator position will commence on a contract basis until the end of June 2022, located in Brisbane’s Southside. To be successful in this position you will have previously worked in similar training roles, have experience in developing and facilitating training in a face-to-face and online capacity. In this role you will develop, maintain, and provide end-to-end support to robust training systems in order to achieve commercial and people training objectives. Work closely with the Program leadership group to support and guide training planning and scheduling, along with analysing the training needs for individuals. Throughout your time you will ensure a positive and productive learning culture is established and maintained.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end support and leadership across all training activities online and face-to-face.
  • Working collaboratively with the Program leadership group to support and guide training planning and scheduling, and analysis of individual training needs.
  • Provide trusted advice to senior stakeholders through a consultative and proactive style to ensure the required outcome is achieved.
  • Using Learning Management Systems to coordinate and administer organisational training and reporting.
Skills and Experience
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or higher – Mandatory.
  • Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (BSB42015) or Government Investigations (PSP40416) – Desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in a training environment, together with development, delivery, and assessment of accredited and non-accredited training.
  • Familiarity with the Australia Quality Training framework standards.
  • Strong communication, relationship building and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems.

The organisation is within a Queensland State Government Department, consisting of 300 contractors spread across four depots sits across South-East Queensland. This department is supported by a strong back-bone of corporate services, finance, information technology, communications and engagement services, digital engagement and systems management, human resources, and organisational performance management.
