This role blends hands-on system administration with stakeholder engagement, ensuring Workday effectively supports Payroll and HR operations while enabling accurate, data-driven decision making.
You’ll work closely with Payroll, HR, IT, and external vendors to maintain system performance, deliver improvements, and ensure compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support across Workday HCM and related modules
- Maintain HR master data in line with governance and data integrity standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, managing tickets within defined SLAs
- Support system enhancements, configuration changes, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with stakeholders to design, test, and implement system updates
- Ensure payroll configurations align with Enterprise Agreements (EBAs), awards, and legislative requirements
- Produce reporting, dashboards, and insights to support business decision making
- Proven experience in Workday HCM system administration
- Exposure to modules such as Learning, Recruitment, or Absence
- Strong focus on data accuracy, reporting, and analytics
- Experience working with stakeholders across Payroll, HR, and IT
- Understanding of payroll compliance, including EBAs, awards, and statutory obligations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
