Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role is responsible for leading maintenance operations through a team of Supervisors, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective delivery of maintenance activities across a complex industrial operation.
This is a leadership-focused position where success will come from developing supervisors, improving accountability, strengthening performance standards and driving continuous improvement across the workforce.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of Maintenance Supervisors responsible for a large trade-based workforce.
- Drive workshop productivity, workforce engagement and maintenance performance.
- Manage facilities, infrastructure, contractors and service providers.
- Lead performance management, workforce development and succession planning initiatives.
- Improve collaboration between maintenance and operational teams.
- Support capital projects, contractor governance and facilities improvement programmes.
- Champion safety, compliance and continuous improvement across all activities.
- Proven leadership experience within maintenance, manufacturing, logistics, mining, or other heavy industrial environments.
- Strong experience leading supervisors and large blue-collar workforces.
- Background operating within unionised environments and managing employee relations matters.
- Trade-qualified Mechanical or Electrical professional preferred.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.
- Visible and engaging leadership style with the ability to challenge established ways of working and drive cultural change.
