Prepare ahead of time and check your equipment is working and is charged
Dress professionally from head-to-toe
Sit in a well-lit room with a light in front of you
Set yourself up in a clean and quiet room away from distractions
Sit up straight in the centre of the frame and maintain eye contact with the webcam
Treat your video interview like an in-person interview

Use an inappropriate filter
Wait until that last minute to get ready
Dress casually in a t-shirt and jeans
